Friday Voices Successful in Harrogate !

Great fun was had by all last weekend as Friday Voices travelled up to the lovely town of Harrogate to enter the Competitive Singing Festival. The choir had entered two classes and won the Sacred Music Class which then entered them into the Choir Challenge Class which we were again fortunate to win. As may be expected, this was followed by a lovely celebratory meal and finished off with some less accurate singing to the delight of local restaurant goers!! (We think!).

The following morning a slightly diminished group of singers travelled across to Ripon Cathedral for a self indulgent sing of our favourite choral music in the fantastic acoustic of the Cathedral. A worthwhile and thoroughly enjoyable trip!!
