OPEN EVENING - FRIDAY 6TH OCTOBER 2023

Friday Voices is a chamber choir based in Anslow near Burton on Trent. We sing a wide variety of choral music from 16th Century sacred pieces, to modern day popular music and everything in between. Most of our singing is acapella. We currently have about 22 members together with Marcus Pashley, our extremely experienced and passionate musical director.

We are actively recruiting new members and we are holding our annual open evening on Friday 6th October at our usual rehearsal venue, Anslow Village Hall, Main Road, Anslow, DE13 9QH from 8pm-10pm. This will be an informal evening to meet choir members, other potential new members, have a drink and some nibbles, meet our MD Marcus, and most importantly, have a sing together. This is an ideal opportunity to come and have a look at the choir and see what we are about with absolutely no obligation to continue. We are particularly seeking tenors and basses, but all voice parts are very welcome.

We are extending an invitation to you to join us at our open evening and we would be delighted if you are able to come along. If you know anyone else who would be interested to join the choir, please feel free to bring them along or pass on the details. We would love to see you for what we hope would be a very relaxed and enjoyable evening.
